UCLA School of Dentistry

Dr. Jin Hee Kwak is an associate professor at the UCLA School of Dentistry and a co-investigator of the CASIS funded RR-5 mission to test NELL-1-based systemic therapy for spaceflight-induced osteoporosis in rodents. CASIS and NASA adopted this method in 2016 to use for all of their current and future rodent research missions onboard the International Space Station that requires DXA densitometry analysis of rodent bones.
