Don't forget the ICARE Project will be taking place directly before D8 at the same location!
Please see the bottom of this page for more information on ICARE (Interagency Collaborative Animal Research Education)!
The preliminary program includes two tracks, plus the Mini-Leadership Academy and
small-group break-out discussion sessions. See below for workshop
descriptions to be held on Wednesday 5/9 as well! On Wednesday evening, please also join us for an evening Networking Reception (for an additional small fee).
The Mini-Leadership Academy is an exciting opportunity available to those of you who want to develop your leadership skills and learn more about volunteerism in the AALAS community! Come and join us for a half day workshop, facilitated by leaders in the field who want to share their experiences with you and support you on the path to leadership. This is an interactive workshop where attendees will be introduced to different leadership styles, learn about the benefits of volunteerism, and receive information on the AALAS structure. Don't miss the chance to join in this workshop! Registration for the workshop is free but spaces are limited.
